A slightly different approach to
a similar project
from 5 years ago, this time jointing with dowels.
Cuts with the GKS 12V-26 & FSN WAN angle guide
One wood thickness extra height for clearance
ENJOYWOOD dowel jig from China
Slight overkill for top/bottom, but mainly for practice
Dowel holes transferred easily to the sides with the jig
Very good accuracy from the jig
Glue up
Front, sanded
Back, more dowels used as stops
Slightly gappy, wood was cupped
Should've removed the pencil marks before glueing
Oak beeswax finish
Unsure about the colour, but there's no going back
Final home on my workbench
