Just some unedited snapsh!ts going back a year probably. Starting with a field in Iceland, exciting stuff right?
A more recognisable image of Iceland.
Shooting 6×7 at the Burn House.
Somewhere in Edinburgh, on my way to see Makoto Shinkai at Scotland Loves Animation.
Probably wanted to use up the last shot so I could stick it in the dev tank.
Mounting prints for a PhotoSoc exhibition & auction.
And at the auction the following day.
Department Xmas party?
I think when I first got the Biogon I decided to take photos of foliage simply to see whether the lens was as sharp as people raved. Of course when scanned on a flatbed it’s not like I can really judge…
Playing with some programmable logic teaching aid thing.
Then to the pub again.
And more flash in the pub, but which somehow ended up on this roll instead of with the others.
And two more shots that came out of the Yashica Mat at some point during its broken-ness.
Apparently I shot with flash one evening.
The Burn House near Edzell, going again next month.
More scanning, some snapsh!ts between August & December last year. Starting off with Covent Garden during the London Olympics, unfortunate that I was only carrying b&w at the time asa the flags were all different colours.
Jumping forward to December, walking back to the train station after the (amazing) PostSecret Live at Assembly Hall.
And then we appear to be in the pub again; not sure these posts reflect well upon my pastimes…
Scanned another roll, starting to get used to the workflow & how to avoid Newton’s rings; the ‘top’ 35mm row of the V600’s negative holder seems more susceptible to them than the ‘bottom’. Mix of St Andrews & a party at a friends’ place in Dundee.
Nailing focus when drunk~
Not really sure what I was going for, think maybe I was hoping the reflection would come out nicely.
Seems not everybody approves of being a subject…
…whereas others are more indifferent/bemused.
No flash, even though it looks a bit like it was.
Kinda wish it was more obvious/believable that she was looking at him…
…then him at her.
Fellow camera geek & spam aficionado, Doug.
It seems you shouldn’t push Tri-X to 1600 if you want any shadow detail.
Not nailing focus when drunk.
Honestly no idea what was going on here, but I suspect it involved the kittens.
Subject isolation! On the X100…
…and on an actual person!
