Falkland Palace photospheres

I shot a whole bunch of photospheres around Falkland Palace earlier this month & am just getting around to working through them. Along with a dozen or so photospheres I took at Gladstone’s Land the following week, there’s a fair backlog for me to work through.

I had the idea earlier today to record the process, but unfortunately the actual photosphere was the less interesting of the two that I did today. Oh well, still fun to watch at 1600% speed!

The ‘little planet’ projections are quite fun when there’s actually a lot of stuff up toward the zenith of the photo, like there is in these ones from inside the chapel with its fancy ceiling.

I suspect that part of the reason that I couldn’t make these perfectly symmetrical was simply that the building wasn’t actually symmetrical, though considering its age I suppose it can be forgiven.

We did the greenhouse simple because we figured ‘that might be fun’ & as it turns out it kinda was.
