This instalment starts from Ruth’s perspective, as she wore the Clip after passing her PhD viva with flying colours.
I didn’t stick around, but evidently there was much drinking…
Then food at Jahangir…
Then more drinking…
And a nice walk on the beach the following morning :)
Speaking of PhDs, this is me getting my thesis bound.
And driving off to submit it.
The Clip perspective of an exhibition that we ran as PhotoSoc.
Possibly the best photo my Clip has ever taken.
Some casual f/1.1
Getting to the end of the academic year, so time for an AGM to elect a new PhotoSoc committee.
Checking on the darkroom.
Hadn’t sat through a presentation for a while.
Lunch with Jaunty, so of course we had to sit opposite.
That, my friends, is Vint Cerf (one of the people who invented the Internet).
No really.
Vint. Cerf.
Stevo up from Manchester to catch the talk.
Ruth all liveried up for the occasion.
I’m not sure if the decorative jars in the pub were intended to be used to hold the windows open, but…
Far too long since I chatted with Malcolm in Aikmans.
And I finally got my honorary life membership of the St Andrews University Students’ Association. The Clip happened to take a picture as my friend Nathalie was getting hers :)
